Micro GamesSold 580,000 copies in Europe and Japan. Patrick wrote Micro Games for a teenage audience based on his first experiences of programming on the emergent generation home computer technology. The book was published in 1983 for BBC, Commodore, Sinclair and RML platforms, and subsequently translated into Japanese for the MSX home computer range.

You Can do The CubeSold 1.5 million copies world-wide in 17 editions, ranked as number 1 on the London Times and New York Times bestseller lists for the entire Year 1981. Patrick (shown right) wrote the book based on his own solution to the Rubik's Cube at the age of 12. It was published in 1981, and became the fastest selling book in history since the publication of Lady Chatterley's Lover. It has since only been out-sold by J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter series.
